Job seekers can now register for Georgia Southern University’s two newest career development workshops at the Coastal Georgia Center in Savannah.
Both sessions are on Saturday, June 27. The first session, “making your resume work for you,” is from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and will include how to write a resume to meet certain job descriptions, summarizing your work history and improving your chances of being asked for an interview.
The second session, “acing the interview” is from 1-3 p.m. Experts say a good first impression is essential. Participants will learn interview skills and how to plan ahead for tough questions. Tips also will be given on wardrobe and presentation.
Choose one workshop for $69 or both morning and afternoon same-day workshops at a discounted rate of $118. Registration closes at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 24.
