The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce recently announced the rehiring of Erin Johnson, after a brief absence, to assume the position of office manager.
In this new role, Johnson will be charting new territory for the chamber, as office manager is a new position for the organization.
“We are very excited to have Erin working with us again. With her previous experience at the chamber, as well as her dedication to professionalism and high aptitude for excellence, I am confident that she will be a great office manager,” chamber CEO Leah Poole said.
Johnson, a Liberty County native, has a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer science from the University of Georgia. Upon graduating college, she married a soldier stationed at Fort Stewart and moved to Oregon.
She returned to Liberty County in 2014 and worked at the chamber of commerce as an interim membership director, then full-time finance assistant.
After being a stay-at-home mother to her son, Jacob, for several months, Johnson is returning to work at the chamber.
“I’m so happy to be back at the chamber as office manager and excited for the new opportunities ahead. I look forward to working with our staff and especially our members,” Johnson said.
