Andrew Standard of Liberty County was been selected by the CADDA Board of Directors to serve as CADDA’s chief executive officer.
Standard, a former loan officer and board member with CADDA, has more than 30 years of banking experience. Among his degrees and certifications, he attended Georgia Southern and the University of Georgia School of Banking. His community involvement includes several charitable affiliations as well as professional organizations such as the Rotary Club and area chambers of commerce. Most recently, he served as the chairman of Savannah Technical College Board of Directors.
Robin Blackwell, a CADDA employee in the Brunswick office since 1989, was promoted to chief financial officer. She is a certified economic development finance professional and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northwood University.
Teena Hicks, another CADDA employee in the Brunswick office since 1993, was promoted to senior loan officer. She is a also certified economic development finance professional and holds a B.S. degree in finance with an emphasis in banking from Georgia Southern University.
Wendy Jeffers was promoted to loan officer for CADDA’s Savannah office. Prior to working with CADDA, Jeffers earned a BBA from Valdosta State University, was a certified consumer credit counselor and an employee of SunTrust Bank. Jeffers joined CADDA in 1999 as a loan specialist.
CADDA was created in 1976 to administer a $5 million grant to a seafood processor in Glynn County. In 1982, CADDA became a certified development company to deliver the Small Business Administration and Rural Development IRP loan programs. CADDA offers the loans to small businesses in Southeast Georgia, lower South Carolina and Northern Florida.
The objective of the programs is to create and retain jobs and increase productivity. Since 1976, CADDA says it has assisted in creating or retaining 8,500 jobs, in participation with area banks.
