McLEAN, Va. — Hinesville resident Daisy Jones was recently trained and certified as a corporate etiquette and international protocol consultant by The Protocol School of Washington.
The training was held at The Ritz Carlton, Tysons Corner.
The class individuals must take to become certified is a comprehensive program designed to train individuals to teach business etiquette, international protocol and dining seminars. The interactive seminars give professionals and executives the skills to handle situations where business is conducted.
Representatives from The Protocol School of Washington say they were the first to provide professional training and certification in etiquette and protocol.
Since 1988, more than 1,600 men and women have been trained and certified to use the school’s training manuals, workbooks, slides and support materials.
Jones, a retired Army officer, is a former Coastal Courier writer and is the executive administrator at Mt. Zion Ministries. She can be reached at 572-9346.
