Meredith Boggs joined the KNDU/KNDO “NBC Right Now” news team in June and serves as a reporter and an anchor for the 5 and 6 p.m. weekday news casts.
Boggs started her career hosting in Los Angeles and worked her way into the news as a producer, reporter and anchor, covering the Two Virginias before arriving in Washington.
Boggs earned her Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast journalism from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro and The School for Dramatic Arts in New York City.
Her father, Larry Boggs, is a retired CW4 Army helicopter pilot and her mother, Elaine Boggs, is the broker and owner of Elaine Boggs Realty Group, LLC in Hinesville/Fort Stewart. Boggs grew up in Alabama, Germany and Georgia.
In her free time, Meredith enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, spending time with family, friends and her two dogs. She finds fulfillment in helping people in her community and working with local animal shelters. While in Los Angeles, she created her own hosting channel spotlighting everyday people giving back to their communities.
