The Brown Bagger held its grand opening Jan. 18 in Ludowici.
Owner Sean Tucker cut the ribbon in front of his shop as members of his family and the Long County Chamber of Commerce attended the ceremony.  
“We’re glad to be open here in Ludowici,” he said.
Tucker said the Brown Bagger sells beer, wine, cigarettes and lottery tickets. Store features include a drive-up window and an ATM.
Tucker has been in operation since October. Store hours are 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
During the ceremony, Tucker gave away door prizes and also served hot dogs and chips.
Chamber President Kadee Dasher indicated more new businesses are on the way.
“We’ve had several new businesses open over the last year, and more are coming in the near future,” Dasher said.
