The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce recently added Krista Maines to its staff as administrative assistant.
Maines replaced Lisa Davis, who recently moved to the membership-director position.
In her new capacity, Maines schedules events, such as ribbon-cuttings, luncheons and other occasions for members. She also runs the welcome center at the chamber, which entails providing new or potential residents with welcome packets and any other information they may need.
Maines is a licensed veterinary technician with a bachelor’s degree in science from Medaille College in Buffalo, New York. She has lived in Florida, Wyoming and, most recently, New York.
“I am both happy and thankful for my position as the administrative assistant at the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce, as it will provide me with the opportunity to help out and get to know the local community, while also giving me the chance to improve on my own skill base,” Maines said.
