Mike Reed, general manager of NeSmith Chevrolet on Highway 84 East in Hinesville, recently announced General Motors’ new Total Confidence Program, which provides consumers with product protection, family protection, vehicle value protection and payment protection with each new car purchased through April 30.
GM announced the special package of services Wednesday to its dealerships across the country.  “We’re thrilled that General Motors is going even further to assure the buying public that when they purchase a new vehicle from us, their investment is solid,” Mike Reed said. “We already offer the highest quality and best fuel economy automobiles on the road and this is a step beyond what any manufacturer in the world is offering.  It’s incredibly exciting.”
This special package of services comes with almost every new 2008, 2009 and 2010 General Motors vehicle purchased between April 1-30. For the Chevrolet line, it includes product protection: every new Chevy is backed with a fully transferable five year/100,000 mile power train warranty; family protection: OnStar is standard for one year on every new Chevrolet; vehicle value protection: GM gives you up to $5,000 vehicle depreciation protection and payment protection: GM will make your payments up to $500 per month if you lose your job. Full program details can be found online at www.gmconfidence.com.
