The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations from the community for Business Leader of the Year, Business of the Year and Civic Leader of the Year.

Nominated businesses and business leaders must demonstrate the highest standards of business ethics and practice.

Those nominated should demonstrate innovation in management and leadership, as well as a high level of commitment to the advancement of their individual business and the overall economic climate of Liberty County.

Criteria to consider when nominating a business leader includes: being a member in good standing with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce; being a resident of or working in Liberty County; being known for integrity in business operations; having good character; practicing fair treatment of co-workers, employees and customers; demonstrating growth of the company; and demonstrating a commitment to community service on a personal level.

Nominations forms are available on the Chamber website at www.libertycounty.org and may be submitted via mail, fax or delivered to the Chamber by Jan. 6.
