The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting Tuesday for American Fence and Feed and Bootleggers Package Store located at 5826 W. Oglethorpe Hwy in Walthourville.

Chamber CEO Leah Poole introduced owners Jeff and Julie Dawson to those in attendance.

Chamber Board Chairwoman Karen Bell welcomed the two owners to the Chamber and offered words of support on behalf of the Chamber board and staff. Walthourville Mayor Daisy Pray spoke and remarked on the long-time collaboration between their business and the city.

Locally-owned and operated, Bootleggers Package Store is the newest addition for owners Jeff and Julie Dawson, who have been running American Fence and Feed for over 18 years.

"Everything fell into place and the city has been so welcoming and helpful," Julie Dawson said.

Dawson encouraged the community to stop by both of their stores and to take a look around.

American Fence and Feed provides fence installation and repairs on residential, commercial and industrial properties. They also service livestock and pet needs in addition to lawn, garden, fishing and hunting needs.

Bootleggers Package Store, is a one-stop shop for a variety of beer, wine and liquor, in addition to lottery and cigarettes.
