Charlene L. Parlett, owner of Southeast Auto Service and Repair of Hinesville, recently attended the LeadSpeak Speaker’s Seminar 2012 in Dallas.

The event focused on developing attendees into effective public speakers and involved a hands-on workshop format in which attendees prepared multiple presentations for evaluation. Parlett focused her presentations on experiences as a small-business owner, the challenges of being a woman in a predominately male industry, and growing up in an difficult home environment and overcoming obstacles.
