The Paw Spaw LLC hosted a ribbon-cutting and grand-opening ceremony Sept. 14 in conjunction with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce.
Owner Priscella Hooper and her staff welcomed chamber staff, board members, ambassadors, members and people from the community.
“I am excited to be a part of this historic downtown community. This shop is a stepping stone toward achieving my ultimate dream,” Hooper said.
She went on to explain her dream of opening a large-scale pet facility that includes grooming services, training and boarding of pets.
The pet salon offers de-shedding, teeth brushing, nail filing, grooming, nail painting and many other treatments for pets.
The salon primarily services cats and dogs, but Hooper said she and her team are happy to discuss services for other small pets.
“We welcome you to the chamber,” said Kevin Thomas, chairman of the chamber board of directors. “We are here for you and support your growing business.
Paw Spaw provided treat samples and tours of the facility.
“The Hinesville Downtown Development Authority supports you and appreciates your contributions to our efforts in community growth,” said Vicki Davis, executive director of the Hinesville Downtown Development Authority.
The pet salon is at 105B N. Main St. in downtown Hinesville.
