Concentra Physical Therapy had a ribbon cutting and open house Oct. 1 in conjunction with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce at 1146 E.G. Miles Parkway in Hinesville.
Vice President of Strategic Accounts Chuck Lewis and Area Therapy Director Neetu Trivedi welcomed staff, chamber staff and board members and members of the community to the event.
Concentra Physical Therapy previously was open in the Food Lion shopping center off E.G. Miles Parkway, but outgrew the facility just a year after opening. The facility has two physical therapists and recently added a speech therapist. Therapy is offered for both adults and children.
“We are pleased to expand,” Lewis said. “We’ve had lots of help from our TRICARE brothers and sisters, and we take the care of our soldiers very seriously. This is a wonderful new facility and a wonderful community.”
The physical therapists can treat trauma, repetitive use and over-exertion injuries, pain and functional limitations caused by medical or chronic injuries and orthopedic and hand/upper extremity injuries.
“We are thankful to the community of Hinesville,” Trivedi said. “We hope to serve our military and civilian patients well.”
Concentra Physical Therapy is open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Appointments typically are required, but they take walk-ins occasionally. A prescription for physical therapy is needed by the patient’s primary-care provider.
