Delectable Fruits held a ribbon-cutting and grand opening March 18 at its new store at 1427A W. Oglethorpe Highway in Hinesville.
Owners Mike Narvaez and Glady Romero began planning the business in 2014 to include a complete renovation of their building. Narvaez is originally from New York, but has lived in the Savannah area for more than 15 years.
“We wanted to bring something new to Liberty County. We are excited to finally be open,” Navarez said.
Delectable Fruits offers a variety of original fruit arrangements, including chocolate-covered fruits. Romero comes from five generations of chocolate makers and bakers, and makes all of the chocolate for the business by hand.
“We are glad you are here. This type of business is what makes our community diverse and prosperous,” said Leah Poole, Liberty County Chamber of Commerce CEO.
Delectable Fruits is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call 320-4258 or go to
