The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting Oct. 21 for Primerica Financial Services at 13503 E. Oglethorpe Highway in Midway, inside the Islands Real Estate Building.

Primerica is the largest financial services marketing organization in North America and is located in all 50 states and headquartered in Duluth, Georgia.

Chamber Membership Coordinator Amber Barbaro and board member Jack Standard both welcomed Primerica Regional Vice President and the owner of the new location, Lori Agnew, to the area and ensured her that she has the full support of the Chamber.

“I have been with Primerica for 23 years,” said Agnew. “We live in Midway, so that’s why I wanted to open up here in my backyard.”
Primerica offers many different financial services, including debt elimination and insurance cost-reduction programs and doesn’t charge a monetary fee for its services.

“What makes us different is that we service middle America, while other organizations service the upper echelon of America,” said Agnew. “I can show someone how to start investing for their future with as little as zero to start and do $50 a month, which opens up doors for a lot more people.”

Agnew and her husband recently relocated to Liberty County from New Jersey and are running the business themselves, but they are looking forward to future expansion.

“We are going to be expanding in the future to add people to our team who are either looking for part-time income or possibly a career change,” said Agnew.
