Brittany Shaw, a native of the Liberty/Long counties area, recently joined the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce as a finance assistant.

Shaw is assisting the chamber in accounting and business functions, keeping financials organized and filed, file management, expense-statement preparation, budget compliance and other duties.

“We are so happy to have Brittany join us at the Chamber. Her energy and vitality bring a nice fresh perspective to the office,” chamber CEO Leah Poole said.

Shaw recently graduated from East Georgia College in Swainsboro with an associate’s degree in general studies and was a book keeper/cashier for BI-LO in Millen. She also has done volunteer work for organizations such as Keep Liberty Beautiful and Relay for Life. She enjoys spending time outdoors, going to the beach, riding four-wheelers, zip lining and spending time with friends and family.
