Coffee lovers, get ready. Starbucks is coming to the Oglethorpe Square Shopping Center.
Jamey Flegal, director of real estate for Hutton Construction, confirmed the popular coffee store is opening in Hinesville, along with T-Mobile and Jersey Mike’s Subs.
Other stores that recently signed leases are Wayback Burgers, Barberitos and Great Clips.
While restaurants such as Panda Express and LongHorn Steak House are still under construction, the new traffic signal for the shopping center has been installed.
"The traffic light is installed and will be turned on in conjunction with the opening of the shopping center," Flegal said, which is scheduled to open in March.
The traffic signal along West Oglethorpe Highway, between Brantley and Ralph Quarterman drives will prohibit drivers from turning left onto the highway from Ralph Quarterman Drive.
The shopping center broke ground in May and is expected to offer 250 full-time jobs to the community.
Stores that earlier announced they were setting up shop in the new shopping center include T.J. Maxx, PetSmart, ULTA, Aspen Dental, Chick-Fil-A, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Hobby Lobby.
The center is almost at full capacity, Flegal said, with some space still available for retail.
