State Farm will welcome new agent Joseph Grant to Hinesville next month.
Joseph Grant State Farm agency will open Aug. 1 at 101 Oglethorpe Highway.
Before becoming a State Farm agent, Grant worked for Unique Supplies & Equipment Inc. in sales and management operations for more than 15 years. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the Hampton University, where he majored in business management, and a master’s degree in computer resources information management from Webster University.
Grant said he is excited about his venture in insurance and financial services.
“My goal is to help the people of Hinesville and the surrounding communities to manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams,” Grant said. “Being a State Farm agent fuels my desire to make a difference in the lives of the people around me. I have a unique opportunity to continue a strong legacy started by a cherished agent, R.W. Curtis, here in Hinesville. My team and I will strive to continue this high level of service to the community which has given so much back to us.”
Grant’s office includes two staff members, Darnelle Dixon and Belinda Wallace, and he plans to add two more staffers to help customers with insurance and financial-service needs.
