State of city address at April Chamber luncheon

The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce will host a Progress Through People Luncheon at noon April 26 at the Liberty County Performing Arts Center, 2140 E. Oglethorpe Highway, Flemington.

The luncheon will feature Hinesville Mayor Allen Brown’s state of the city address, which will focus on Hinesville’s current and future fiscal outlook and opportunities for growth.

The luncheon will take place during Georgia Cities Week, which is April 22-28. The week celebrates community achievements, recognizes volunteers, city employees and encourages cities to educate citizens about the services that improves quality of life.

The cost is $15 for chamber members and $20 for others. The luncheon is sponsored by ESG Operation.
