Approximately 500 members of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets accepted diplomas during The Citadel's commencement ceremony on May 5 in McAlister Field House.

The following local students were among the graduating class:

Nathaniel Cochran of Midway received a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice.

Asyria Daniels of Hinesville received a Bachelor of Science in exercise science.
