Chamber announces 2024-25 YALL class

The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce will announce its annual awards at the banquet on Jan. 25.

The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that 23 local high schoolers have been accepted for the 2024-2025 Young Adult Liberty Leaders (YALL) program.

• Bradwell Institute: Aku Komlan, Amirria Shepherd, Blake Gilmore, Ebony Stevenson, Ethan Griffith, Faith Ryan, Gia Williams and Jordyn Rogers

• First Preparatory Christian Academy: Aida Ni, Bianca Duncan, Destiny Seamster, Logan Brown and Matai Canada

• Liberty County High School: Aeriela Jemison, Akira Richardson, Alaina Probst, Ansley Lawrence, E’Moni Tisdale, Geovanii Pacheco, Jaia Lewis, McKenzie Blanchard, Tamira Gordon and Xavier Mattus 

“We are so excited to welcome this year’s class and help them learn the skills and strategies needed to become future leaders in our community and beyond,” said Leah Poole, President and CEO of the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce and CVB.

Young Adult Liberty Leaders is entering its 17th year. Class participants take part in a rigorous nine-month class, meeting at least once per month and learning about various functions of the community, including County Government, City Government, Public Health, Public Education, Tourism, Economic Development and much more.
