Liberty County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kenny Smiley said he is delighted about the number of entries in this year’s Christmas Parade and noted judging was based on “creativity, theme, originality and appearance.”
The event unfolded smoothly with the “cooperation of all participants” Smiley said.
Smiley wanted to thank the grand marshal, M.L. Coffer, and Fort Stewart for participating.
He especially wanted to acknowledge Garrison Commander Todd Buchs, his wife Renee, and children, Lexy and Austin, as well as Sarah Lynch, wife of 3rd ID Commanding General Maj. Gen. Rick Lynch and Christine McKnight, wife of 3rd ID Chief of Staff Mark McKnight.  
Smiley said the parade was the “most beautiful construction of floats we ever had.”
