Two children and their father who was pushing them in a stroller were injured when they were struck by a pickup Monday evening.
Hinesville

Police report the man was pushing the children near the corner of Honey Ridge and Ridgeland streets just before 6 when the accident occurred.
No names and few details have been released, but authorities say a woman was driving a pickup when it struck the stroller the children were in. They have been taken to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. It was unclear if the man had also been taken to a hospital.

The pickup crashed into a culvert in front of a home on Ridgeland.
The condition of the children was not available Monday evening.

There will be more information in Wednesday's Coastal Courier.
