Christmas Parade to shine
Christmas Parade Draws Large Crowd

The 22nd Annual Illuminated Christmas Parade hosted by the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce and the Liberty County Convention and Visitors Bureau will light up the town Friday, Nov. 30.

The parade route winds through Hinesville beginning at 6:30 p.m. The parade has been held in Hinesville for the past 20 years and showcases businesses, groups and organizations from all over the area. This event has previously attracted more than 15,000 spectators and is televised as well as live streamed on WTOC.

Spectators are welcome to bring their own chairs to sit and enjoy the holiday lights, floats and performances. The route for this year will be a little different, however, spectators can still sit in their favorite spots from years past and see the parade. If you have an interest in the specific route be sure to check the Liberty Chamber Facebook for a map closer to parade day.

The deadline to participate in the parade is this Sunday. Parade entry prices are $40 for non-profits and $60 for others; plus $20 for an additional unit fee. Absolutely no parade registration documents will be taken after Nov. 25.
