The Hinesville mayor and city council will go on a four-day retreat next week where they plan to tackle some of the area’s biggest concerns and priorities.
The retreat, which will begin Wednesday afternoon and wrap up on Saturday, is at Sea Palms on St. Simons Island.
City manager Billy Edwards said during the early sessions of the retreat the council will discuss and prioritize the main objectives they’d like and need to pursue. He said there are about 25 items up for discussion, ranging from development plans to road resurfacing projects.
“I Imagine we’re going to look at all 25,” Edwards said.
Edwards said the council also will spend part of its retreat reviewing the progress made on issues brought up last year.
