Graduation ceremonies for the classes of 2025 are on tap this weekend at Liberty County High School and Bradwell Institute.

LCHS’ seniors will receive their diplomas Friday night at Donell Woods Stadium/ Kirk Warner Field, with commencement exercises starting at 7 p.m.

Geovanii Pacheco will deliver the salutatorian’s address and William Buckley will give the valedictorian’s speech prior to the awarding of diplomas for the class of nearly 250 graduates.

Gates will open at 5 p.m. and graduates must be at the Performing Arts Center by 5 p.m. They will be taken from the PAC to the stadium for the ceremony.

Guests are to be seated in the stands by 6:45 p.m. Parking at LCHS will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking along Highway 84 will be prohibited one mile west and one mile east of the school. Shuttles will operate from both Snelson-Golden Middle School and Midway Middle School. Shuttles will begin at 5:15 p.m. and run every 30 minutes.

In the event of inclement weather, each graduate will be allowed to bring only four guests to the ceremony held in the Liberty County High School’s gymnasium. There will be no overflow seating.

Bradwell’s commencement exercises will take place Saturday at 7 p.m. at Olvey Field/Hokey Jackson Stadium.

Salutatorian Kim Duong will address her classmates, followed by valedictorian Blake Gilmore’s address to his fellow graduates, more than 375.

Guests at Bradwell Institute’s graduation are asked to be in their seats by 6:50 p.m. The entrance gates along General Stewart Way will close at 6:50 p.m. and will not reopen until after the ceremony.

If inclement weather or other circumstances necessitate moving the ceremony indoors to the Bradwell gym, each graduating senior will have two guest tickets.

First Preparatory Christian Academy will hold its graduation Saturday morning at 11 a.m.
