Fort Stewart Area virtual career fair for military and veterans, hosted by the DAV and Recruit Military. This is a free virtual hiring event for transitioning military personnel, veterans, National Guard and reservists, and military spouses. It will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 21. May 22-23 

Drive through graduation for Bradwell Institute and Liberty County High School. Bradwell Institute’s virtual graduation begins with virtual salutations at Friday, May 22 at 9 a.m., then the livestream carline diploma ceremony will be begin at 11 a.m. 

Liberty County’s is on Saturday, May 22, with virtual salutations at 9 a.m. and the carline diploma ceremony at 11 a.m. For more go to www.liberty.k12.ga.us, and Liberty County Schools on YouTube and Facebook.

Fort Stewart holds Virtual Community Memorial Day Event

Fort Stewart hosts a virtual Memorial Day ceremony via Facebook Premiere at 10 a.m. Monday. The ceremony will appear on the 3rd Infantry Division Facebook page, www.facebook.com/3rd.Infantry.Division; the ceremony was filmed at Warriors Walk.

Liberty County Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament

The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce 15th Annual Golf Classic is on Friday, May 29th at Cherokee Rose. Team spots are available by calling 912.368.4445 or emailing director@libertycounty.org. HPD Summer cookouts

Save the date for the Hinesville Police Department summer 2020 installments of the Community Cookouts. HPD will be out in town on Fridays beginning May 22 from 6 - 8 p.m. for cookouts.  Attendees will be able to grab a free hot dog, chips and a drink, visit with HPD and other vendors and play games - courtesy of the YMCA Liberty Branch’s Y on Wheels program.
