Flemington Workshop
The Mayor and Council of the City of Flemington will conduct a Council Workshop on Thursday, October 29th, 2020 beginning at 4:00 p.m. The purpose of the Workshop is to discuss possible future infrastructure needs. Wayne Memorial Hospital Blood drive
Wayne Memorial Hospital Blood is hosting its next blood drive on Monday, November 2, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Red Cross bloodmobile adjacent to the exterior entrance to The Café at Wayne Memorial. Appointments may be made by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS or visiting www.RedCrossBlood.org and entering “wmh” as the sponsor code. Donors may streamline their appointments and save up to 15 minutes by visiting RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass to complete their pre-donation questions. Donors may also schedule their appointment on the Blood Donor App. App users may also get their digital donor card, track their lifetime donations, view their blood pressure and follow their donation on its way to a hospital.

Bethel AME Church Citizens Relying on Spiritual Servants (CROSS)
C.R.O.S.S. in conjunction with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Savannah will be handing out food bags on the fourth Saturday of every month. Food Bags will be given out from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
C.R.O.S.S. also has a clothing ministry giveaway on the second and fourth Saturday of every month. The ministry is open from 8a.m. until 11 a.m. School Uniforms are available too. St. James Community Church will be having their annual Global Mission Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 9:30 a.m. The guest speaker will be Minister Marion McIver and the McIver's singers of Church of God Uplifting, (Pastor Prophet Otis McIver). This year’s theme is Return Back to God, It's Time for a Spiritual Renewal 2 Chronicle 7:14. Deadline to register for annual Illuminated Christmas Parade
The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce and Liberty County Convention & Visitors Bureau will host the 24th Annual Illuminated Christmas Parade on Friday, December 4th, 2020, in downtown Hinesville. The parade will begin at 6:30 pm.
Parade entry forms are due no later than Friday, November 27th by close of business. For more information about the parade or to find the parade registration forms, please contact the Chamber at 368-4445.
This year’s theme is “Ugly Sweater Christmas.” The theme celebrates the wacky, tacky and downright hilarious attire we love to sport during the holiday season.
