Construction, lane closures set for this week

The Georgia Department of Transportation continues to improve highway infrastructure throughout the area. As a result, work on construction and maintenance projects will continue through Friday. Closure schedule may change due to weather or other factors.

Lane closures by county are scheduled as follows:

 

Chatham County:

- Highway 204 between Pine Grove Road and Veterans Parkway – from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday Eastbound and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday Westbound. Inside lane closures for work on the concrete median barrier wall.

- Interstate 95 resurfacing project – from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, northbound lane closure at Pipemakers Bridge at MP 103; from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday-Thursday, Exit 109 closures, northbound exit ramp traffic detoured via Exit 106, Jimmy Deloach Parkway eastbound, SR 21 Exit, southbound entrance ramp traffic detoured via SR 21 southbound, Jimmy Deloach Parkway westbound, I-95 southbound.

       

    Liberty County

- Highway 119 between Holmestown Road and Dunlevie Road – from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, lane closure with flagging operation for roadside shoulder work.
