The volunteers with Wayne Memorial Hospital are offering the public chances to win a large, crocheted blanket handmade by volunteer Sandra Shuptrine. The red, white and black chevron-patterned blanket will be raffled off Friday, Dec. 21. Tickets are being sold in the hospital gift shop now through Dec. 20. One ticket is $1 and six tickets may be purchased for $5. The winner will be contacted after the drawing.

 The hospital gift shop, The Care Cove, is open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The blanket is on display at the shop, which may be reached at 912-530-3187. The gift shop is one of several areas in the hospital community run by the volunteers, a group that exists to serve the needs of patients, their families and hospital staff.
