Allenhurst has announced a competition for a town seal design.
First prize is $100. The contest ends Feb. 28.
Seal designs must be circular and contain the following: two colors, the words “Town of Allenhurst,” a two man cross saw blade or sawmill, either a long leaf pine tree or logs, and the words “Est. 1901 or established 1901.”
Designs should be submitted, mounted on mat board with the seal itself no smaller than 10 inches by 10 inches and no larger than 24 inches by 24 inches with a tissue-cover flap.

The entrant’s name, address, phone number and school should be posted on the back of the piece.
