Early voting for the city of Midway municipal election and the special election to fill the District 1 state Senate seat ends at 5 p.m. today.
By yesterday afternoon, 83 Midway residents had voted early in the municipal election and 107 Liberty County residents voted early in the special election, said Ella Golden, Liberty County interim supervisor of elections.
To be eligible to vote early in the municipal election and special election, residents must have registered by Oct. 5, Golden said.
Early voting in the special election is being held at the Liberty County Registrar’s Office at 102 S. Commerce St. in downtown Hinesville.
Registered Midway voters can vote early in the city election at the Midway Civic Center.
Golden reminds voters to bring a photo ID with them when they vote. Election day is Tuesday, Nov.3.
