FLEMINGTON — Brewton-Parker College’s Liberty County Campus on East Oglethorpe Highway will host a new student registration and information event from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15.
BPC’s Liberty County campus offers bachelor’s and associate’s degrees taught in eight-week, evening and online sessions.
The orientation is for new students who are interested in enrolling in classes for the fall 2009 semester. Potential students will be able to learn more about the “locked-in” tuition rate for external programs and financial aid opportunities. They also will take a tour of the campus and visit with local faculty and staff.
Students are encouraged to bring a copy of their SAT/ACT scores, a high school transcript and a FAFSA PIN number. Anyone who is interested can RSVP by calling 448-2752 or e-mailing Christopher Jeancake at cjeancake@bpc.edu.
Brewton-Parker is a participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program, which helps U.S. veterans pay for college. To learn more about this program, call Jeancake or Karen Mock at 583-3298.
