Interstate Credit Union recently announced its second annual “Extreme Makeover: Classroom Edition” contest.
The contest will award $3,000 in prize money to six teachers. Each w inner will receive $500 to improve his or her classroom and create ideal learning environments for their students.
An interested teacher can submit an application with a video or short essay explaining how they could benefit from a classroom makeover or additional supplies. An applicant must be a pre-K-12 teacher at a school in Liberty, Long, Appling, Bacon, Jeff Davis or Wayne counties.
Applications and complete rules are available at any branch location or at www.iufcu.org. Completed entries must be received by 5 p.m. July 31.
