JESUP — Interstate Credit Union recently announced its second annual Extreme Makeover: Classroom Edition Contest. The contest will award $3,000 to six teachers. Each winner will receive $500 to improve his or her classroom and create an ideal learning environment for students.  
Interested teachers should submit an application with a video or short essay explaining how they could benefit from a classroom makeover or additional supplies. To be eligible for the contest, applicants must teach at a pre-K-12 school in Liberty, Long, Appling, Bacon, Jeff Davis or Wayne counties.
Applications and complete rules are available at any branch location or at www.iufcu.org. Completed entries must be received by 5 p.m. July 31.
