ATLANTA — The Path2College 529 Plan is giving children in Georgia an opportunity to win $1,529 for a Path2College 529 Plan account.

Georgia parents, guardians and grandparents, at least 21, can enter children born in 2003 or after in the We Care, Child Care Sweepstakes by Sept. 1. for a chance to win. Mitch Seabaugh, executive director of the Path2College 529 Plan said the Department of Early Care and Learning is helping tell families about state’s 529 college savings plan.

The sweepstakes will also award three child care centers licensed by DECAL $529 for their efforts to help educate families about the importance of saving for college.
