Dennis Parrott, manager of the new Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market in Hinesville, recently presented 20 $50 gift cards to teachers at Smiley Elementary School in Ludowici.


Saying he appreciates the job they do, Parrott told the teachers of grants available from Wal-Mart. He said the grants can be used for school and some community activities.

SES Principal Lisa Long thanked Parrott and Wal-Mart for the cards and said teachers will use them to buy materials and supplies for their classes.
