The Miss Blue Tide Pageant will be Oct. 15 at Long County High School.

It is open to everyone and there will be age divisions from 0 through 18, not married and no children. Entry costs $40, $30 for a second child. Entry deadline is Sept. 30.

Beauty will be judged on appearance, poise and personality. The winner will receive a crown, banner and trophy. Second-fourth winners receive trophies. There will be no practice.

Admission to the pageant will be $5, children 4-12 $3 and free for younger children. Proceeds go to the school’s FCCLA/FBLA.
