On Dec. 15, Walker Middle School FBLA hosted its first Father Daughter Formal Christmas Ball in the school’s lunchroom, which was outfitted with candles and red and green decorations.
All girls in fourth through eighth grades were invited to attend the ball with their dads. Ninety-six girls registered to attend the dance, and around 200 people showed up.
Music was provided by DJ Briggy, and the fathers and daughters enjoyed a first dance to the song “Butterfly Kisses.”
Food for the ball was provided by Shirleen McClain.
