GED tests will be given in Jesup at the Scott Polytechnical Center, Room 434, from 5-9 p.m. Sept. 10-11.
Candidates may register on the campus at 1:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. Sept. 6 in room 436.
Registration takes about an hour. Candidates for testing must be 18 or older and must bring a picture ID. Also, candidates who are age 18 or 19 must bring a high school withdrawal form.
The test costs $95 or $19 for each one of five content areas. This fee is payable at the time of registration.
Free GED preparation classes are available. Day classes are offered Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to noon. Night classes are offered Monday and Wednesday from 5-9 p.m.
