Hands-on learning about Native Americans

Students in Adriana Poole’s fourth grade social studies class at Taylors Creek Elementary constructed Native American shelters upon completion of their unit of study on Native Americans.
The students used their knowledge of Native American regions and the resources available to the Native Americans to create their projects.
The projects ranged from igloos in the Arctic region to chickees in the Southeastern region.
