The National Society of High School Scholars recently selected Bradwell Institute student LaTonya Jones of Hinesville to become a member of the organization. The society, formed in 2002, recognizes top scholars who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, scholarship and community commitment.
“On behalf of NSHSS, I am honored to recognize the hard work, sacrifice and commitment that LaTonya has demonstrated to achieve this exceptional level of academic excellence,” NSHSS founder and Chairman Claes Nobel said. “LaTonya is now a member of a unique community of scholars — a community that represents our very best hope for the future.”
NSHSS members enjoy a variety of benefits, including scholarship opportunities, academic competitions, free publications, participation in programs offered by educational partners, personalized recognition items and publicity honors. There currently are more than 830,000 society members in more than 160 countries. For more information, go to www.nshss.org.
