Hourglass Lodge 113 celebrated its 120th anniversary Aug. 4. To mark the occasion, lodge members presented the second annual Past Master Arthur Simpson 33rd Scholarship to Long County High School valedictorian Ruth Francis, who graduated with a 4.0 grade point average.

Francis will attend Mercer University in Macon, where she will pursue a bachelor’s degree in finance.
