The Liberty County School System will host a swearing-in ceremony at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday for Dr. Yvette Keel, who recently won a special election to fill the District 6 Board of Education seat vacated by Sampie Smith.

Keel will receive the oath of office from Liberty County Probate Court Judge Nancy K. Aspinwall.

The swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Board of Education’s headquarters, 200 Bradwell St. in Hinesville. This event is open to the public.
