LCHS crowns homecoming queen

The 2007 Long County High School homecoming celebration wrapped up this past Friday with LaConya Sheree Cobb being crowned the 2007 homecoming queen.
Students at the high school had a week full of making memories as they celebrated this year’s homecoming theme “Unforgettable” with Time Travel Tuesday, Wacky Tacky Tuesday, Camouflage Thursday and Blue Tide Pride on Friday.
During halftime at Friday’s game, against Savannah Christian Academy, 2006 Homecoming Queen Alex Chambliss returned to Ludowici to pass the crown onto Cobb, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Cobb.
Cobb is a member of the Beta Club, FBLA and Health Occupations Students of America. She is the secretary of the Student Council, the vice president of the Youth Advisory Council, and a volunteer with the Special Olympics. She also is a cheerleader for the basketball and football teams, and is the captain on the football squad.
Also representing the senior class was Danielle Denise Bailey, Sydney Gosseck, Stephanie Leigh Middleton and Jaime Rose Walker
The junior princess was Mich’e Janae Roberts, the sophomore princess was Kamaren Shinae Dansbury, and the freshman princess was Sarah Angelina Gonzalez.
