Lewis Frasier Middle School students recently honed their career skills by participating in mock job interviews. Eighth-grade students enrolled in the career-management class and members of FBLA sat in on the interviews, which were conducted by career-education teacher Cassandra Cruz and local volunteers.
The activity also required students to practice other job-ready career skills, such as completing a job application and preparing a cover letter and resume.
Cruz said she hopes that early exposure will help prepare Lewis Frasier Middle School students for future career success.
Any local business leaders interested in visiting Cruz’s class to share experiences and knowledge should email her at ccruz@liberty.k12.ga.us.
