In support of the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” fight against heart disease, the faculty, staff, and student body of Liberty Elementary School participated in National Wear Red Day on Feb. 7.  Principal Chris Anderson  encouraged the entire faculty and staff to wear red and spread the news about heart disease.  The school’s nurse, Katie Johnson RN, BSN, shared information with the faculty and staff about the disease.
Collectively, the faculty and staff made a donation to the American Heart Association.  Students wore red tops, and the grade level with the largest percentage of students wearing red had a special heart photo taken.
