September is Update Your Resume Month. A workshop will be offered covering essentials in resumes, cover letters, job searching, and what the library has to help.

An hour of activities to discover things at the library.

Tea & Tales book group

Computer classes
Intermediate Word (Liberty)
: An intermediate course using this popular word processing software will be offered Sept. 8 at 11 a.m. at the Liberty Branch Library. Learn more about complex formatting such as columns, headers, footnotes and drop caps. Prerequisite: Introduction to Word.

Introduction to Windows (Liberty)
: A beginners’ course on how to use the library’s computers will be offered Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. at the Liberty branch library. This course will cover using a mouse, manipulating the windows, and printing.

Introduction to Publisher (Liberty):  A course on the desktop publishing program, Microsoft Publisher will be offered Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. Learn to create newsletters, calendars and more. Prerequisite: Intermediate Word or similar skills.
