Rebecca Carter, daughter of Glenn and Becky Carter of Hinesville, recently was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Rebecca, a third-year medical student at the Medical College of Georgia, was one of 12 in her class to be inducted into AOA.
According to the AOA website, the top 25 percent of a medical-school class can be nominated for the society.
Members also can be elected into the society for “demonstrating scholarly achievement and professional contributions and values during their careers in medicine.”
