Armstrong Atlantic State University will host Military Family Day from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. April 5 at the Armstrong Sports Center, 11935 Abercorn St. in Savannah.
The free, on-campus event is for children in grades K-9 whose parents are based at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield.
The day is part of a larger initiative called Educators and Athletes Supporting Youth (EASY). EASY’s goal is address the academic and social issues military children face.
The event will feature a lunch, prizes, fitness fun, interactive technology and more. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
